Students will create a PowerPoint slide show on how to present an effective PowerPoint slide show

• Using the the handout Tips for Effective PowerPoint Presentations, create a PowerPoint slide show
  • Create a title slide with the name of your presentation and your name
  • Select any design style you like; be consistent on all pages
  • Follow the 6 x 6 rule
  • Divide topics into multiple slides
  • Include graphics on 50% of your slides (if you have 10 slides, 5 should have graphics)
  • Use transitions between slides
  • Use animations on at least three slides
  • Include a summary slide at the beginning
  • Include an overview slide at the end
  • Extra credit: Include notes on slides in the Notes section
• If finished today, upload completed PowerPoint slide show to Blackboard
