Friday, December 12
Students will create a PowerPoint slide show on how to present an effective PowerPoint slide show
- Using the the handout Tips for Effective PowerPoint Presentations, create a PowerPoint slide show
- Create a title slide with the name of your presentation and your name
- Select any design style you like; be consistent on all pages
- Follow the 6 x 6 rule
- Divide topics into multiple slides
- Include graphics on 50% of your slides (if you have 10 slides, 5 should have graphics)
- Use transitions between slides
- Use animations on at least three slides
- Include a summary slide at the beginning
- Include an overview slide at the end
- Extra credit: Include notes on slides in the Notes section
- If finished today, upload completed PowerPoint slide show to Blackboard
