Profile Manager

If additional e-mail profiles need to be created, follow these instructions to create each new profile until all profiles are created.

 
 

Click "Start"

Select "Programs"

Select "Netscape Communicator"

Select "Utilities"

Select "Profile Manager"

When the Profile Manager screen appears, click on the "New" button.

The Profile Manager box will show that you are going to be creating a new profile. You should click on the Next button to begin the process.

In the Full Name field, type in your full name (e.g. Elroy Jetson). In the E-mail Address field, type in your full e-mail address (e.g. ejetson@edzone.net). After you are sure your information is correct, click on the Next button.

In the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server field type edzone.net. Then click on the Next button.

For the Mail Server User Name field, type your username only (do not use @edzone.net) For the Incoming Mail Server field, type edzone.net Check to make sure that the Mail Server Type is set to POP3. Then click the Next button.

The next box asks for the Newsgroup Server information. In the News (NNTP) server field, type news.edzone.net. Then click on the Finish button.

CONGRATULATIONS! The new profile should be created.
