ASCD Listserv as our office deals with a number of related

All state members
receive the following printed communications:

ASCD NEWS, a newsletter containing messages from
the president and executive director, reports from the regions,
legislative updates, articles of current interest.
- POSTCARD
BRIEFS,
a periodic summary of brief items of association activity
with references to other communications as the newsletter
or the website.
- PROFESSIONAL
DEVELOPMENT: alerts
about upcoming workshops and conferences with details about
dates, locations, and application forms
- DUES
REMINDER:
the annual reminder to update your membership information
and pay your dues directly or through the ASCD joint membership
program
- ELECTION
MATERIALS:
invitations to run for office, candidate information, and
ballots for the annual spring election

Take advantage
of organization communications ...
All members of Michigan ASCD are encouraged to maintain MASCD
membership, to utilize our electronic communications, to encourage
colleagues to join us, to attend state conferences and workshops,
to volunteer as a writer of newsletter articles or position
papers, to vote in our spring election, to express a willingness
to run for a Board of Directors' office, and to become more
active in our professional association by joining a regional
or state committee. |
