Cooperative Education (Co-op) is a method of instruction where individuals through written cooperative agreements between the school and local employers, receive related instruction in the classroom and integrate that instruction with a part-time job. Co-op jobs must be educational and career-related. Students gain work experience through local employers ½ day and receive instruction at school ½ day.
